Berlin-based DJ and producer Matthias will play in Tokyo on Friday, March 6, 2026, at MIDNIGHT EAST (Spotify O-EAST 3F & AZUMAYA) in Shibuya.

Matthias has been gaining acclaim within the European club scene for his own sound signature, a blend that neatly evokes the roots between a wide spectrum of genres where seductive themes and solid-profound swing rhythms are both equally combined. As a producer, he has released records on important labels such as Cabaret Recordings and Art Of Dark, while also runs his own imprint, Superluminal.

In the main floor at Spotify O-EAST 3F, Matthias will be joined by SO from Mindgames and The Labyrinth who has an established career in Japan’s club music scene, and Luca, a DJ from the next generation and a member of the creative team “zah”.

The AZUMAYA floor features a diverse local lineup including Aquarium a.k.a. Sotokanda deepspace, Baku, DJ Emerald and Konno, offering a deeper, more experimental perspective that balances groove with exploration.

It promises to be an unmissable night for audiences who prioritise the “dancefloor experience”, where the sensibilities of international artists and local DJs will intersect.
