The label and party series AMINO ACID, helmed by artist, producer and DJ NTsKi, returns to MIDNIGHT EAST in Tokyo on Friday, November 20.

This edition welcomes Cousin from Sydney. Known for expansive ambience, subterranean bass and hypnotic rhythms, Cousin creates an immersive, dreamlike sonic world. Having performed at clubs and festivals across North America, the UK, Europe and Asia, Cousin moves fluidly between DJ and live sets, shaping energy with a distinctive sense of control and atmosphere.

The lineup also features NTsKi, alongside Daigos & Jyn, both members of D.A.N., who blend minimal electronic sounds with live instrumentation; SAMO, a resident DJ of Osaka-based party FULLHOUSE; and Hue Ray, a member of PACIFIC MODE. Joining them are Maryisonacid, founder of the Berlin-based label and party African Acid Is The Future, whose selections move between music from across Africa and electronic sounds, and MITAYO, who has performed at festivals including rural and FRUE while hosting RETROSPECTIVE at PRECIOUS HALL in his hometown of Sapporo.

The venue will feature two stages, Mori Stage and Umi Stage. Umi Stage will be equipped with handmade speakers by KEWA ACOUSTIC, the sound system builders behind ishinoko, a festival held in Ishikawa Prefecture.

NTsKi has released three albums through Ohio-based Orange Milk and Japan's EM Records: Orca (2021), Calla (2022) and Euphoria (2025). Through music, visuals and performance, NTsKi moves between intimacy, fantasy and the dancefloor. NTsKi has also appeared on renowned radio stations including New York's The Lot Radio and London's NTS.

In April 2026, AMINO ACID held events in both Tokyo and London, featuring Tristan Arp as a guest. This was followed by an edition featuring Dinamarca in September. Continuing to bring together artists from Japan and abroad, AMINO ACID is steadily expanding its reach.
