Festival de FRUE is an open-air music festival taking place from 31st October to 1st November at Tsumagoi Resort Sai no Sato in Kakegawa, Shizuoka. Since its launch in 2012, FRUE has brought together musicians from around the world under the concept of “a soul-stirring music experience,” reaching beyond electronic music to embrace artists whose work carries a profound spiritual depth. Returning to MIDNIGHT EAST for the first time in two years, the afterparty will feature four acts from the festival lineup.

On the O-EAST main floor, FRUE regular Acid Pauli will weave together organic, psychedelic sounds. North Carolina electropop duo Sylvan Esso, who make their Japan debut with a live performance at the main festival, will perform a DJ set.
The AZUMAYA floor will host Peter Power—a former core member of South American party collective Voodoohop who now runs his own label, UFORDIA—will perform alongside Demian Araya, an Andean quena (vertical flute) player. Completing the lineup is Thomash, the mastermind behind Voodoohop, known for his slow, hypnotic and ritualistic techno.
